For the purposes of UK GDPR, Glass Tech is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

When you submit a quote request through our website forms, we collect:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Address
  • Service type, location and property type
  • Preferred date and message

We also collect limited technical data automatically when you browse the site — such as IP address, browser type and pages visited — but only where you have consented to analytics cookies (see Section 5).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the personal data you provide to:

  • Respond to your quote request or enquiry
  • Provide and manage the exterior maintenance services you request
  • Comply with our legal obligations

Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (responding to service requests) and, where services are agreed, contractual necessity.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Netlify, Inc. — hosts this website and processes form submissions on our behalf.
  • Blueprint Marketing — our web development agency, who may access site data for maintenance and support.

We may also disclose data where required by law.

We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity for site traffic reporting and anonymised usage insights. None are used for advertising.

We retain enquiry and quote data for as long as necessary to respond to you and provide the services requested. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' and Microsoft Clarity's standard retention settings.
